1906 Indian Head Penny Found In Sydney

Believe it or not I just found a 1906 Indian Head Penny right here in Sydney.

Here's the disappointing bit: I found it in my Post Office Box!

It was a prize from one of Mike from MI "Iron Brigade's" competitions.

It is the only competition I have ever one and I am very happy with the prize.

I had no idea what the prize would be, but I hoped that it would be an Indian Penny.

That sounds like I am trying to be nice, but I really did hope that.

I have been watching Terry (Goes 4 Ever) digging up 100 or so of these this year and I like the look of them.

So Mike, I am genuinely pleased with the prize and than you very much for the competition and your efforts on this Forum.

Very cool and that is one of my favorites. I have dug 4 since I started this hobby (April 09)

Congrats on the 1906 IH won in Mike's contest! I like the 1907 IH he sent me, also, and for a 103 year old coin, it is in far better shape than Ma is! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
