50 yrs. old That would be in 2015. 65 was the first year of the Clads after Silver was pulled from most coinage. Now get this, there were only 1,819,717,540 minted. Thats right, the biggest glut of near worthless Quarters ever stamped. To be honest tho, they do come out of the ground in alot better shape than the newer State Quarters. Well just for a hoot, I save every 65 I dig or find in my change. My good Buddy just had a Grand Daughter, who will be 55 when the 65's turn 100, and I'll be long gone. I'm giving her a roll of 65's & maybe she will have a Grandchild and so on and on.
