What I was going to say (sorry for the blank post) was the Wildcat was a super machine - had one in the late 70's - depth wasn' t a stong point - but discrim was superior to anything else I tried. Made some good finds with mine. Build quality was excellent. 12 AA battys - oof! - I usually replaced these w/2 9v....
