Awesome hunt this am!!

First solid target I get locked on is giving some low tones with some higher stuff mixed in, so not being sure what it was and pretty sure it wasn't iron falsing, I dig. The target hit just past 1/2 on the depth meter, I pull the plug, check with the probe, it's still hitting. Second dig I hit some prehistoric roots, quite large right on top of where the probe hit, so I dig off to the side of it, stick in the probe, and I just about knocks my ears off screaming at me coin!!!!!! One more dig and I see in the loose dirt a big green disc, OH YEAH , I'm thinking large cent, but it turned out to be a 1869 2 center!!!!!! My first!!!!!!!!

After I got calmed down, and slowed down a bit, (I always hunt fast after a big find). I nailed some coins that were DownTown!!!!!! The barber dime, no joke was at least 10inchs  Sounded good enough to dig up top, two digs until I could hit it with the probe, started sounding real good then, and with the third deep dig brought it from it's 100 year grave.

We got some rain here this week, and the ground had some moisture in it. The procoil goes DEEP no doubt!!!!!!!!!!!

Later :smoke:,

Brad

Ps. None of the coins hit ferrous 12, not 1.

Ground and not Air Tested. That 2-Center is a Nice One! Good to see you finding some Keepers with the E-TRAC. I take it that is what your using anyways. And Yes! The Pro Coil will find Dimes down 10" if not more without much of a problem. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.
