1st day out with my Explorer

I just recently purchased a used EXP II. I have been using a CZ-3D for the last 2 yrs. I have been reading a lot on here and the Classroom forum to learn how to use it. Thanks to all for the tips. It is definitely different than my 3D. I am glad I learned the 3D 1st. It is much simpler. Much of the stuff I learned on the 3D helped me today. This thing would've probably drove me nuts if I didn't have that experience.

I was able to dig coins up to 8" deep today. Not bad for the 1st day.

I searched around this 200 yr old house for 8 hrs. Half of this house is log under the siding.

I didn't really find the old coins around here that I was hoping for but I got a few decent items. US button (anybody knows anything about it, let me know) old flat button, Ivory Soap coupon,42 Merc, Mining script from Osage, WV. 1996 Atlanta Olympics coin, 9 wheats, 27 other pennies, 6 clad qrtrs, 5 clad dimes.

I didn't have much trouble pinpointing. I did find quite a few coins on edge. I had to drag my 3D around to use the Sunray probe. My Vibraprobe just wasn't strong enough to find them. I need to get a Sunray probe for the EXP soon.
