1st day with the new Exp II and look at all the silver....

Well, actually I stopped by my Momma's this afternoon and she gave me a ton of coins to look through. So far, all of this is silver... Kennedy's, Franklin's, Washington's, Rosies, Mercs, Walking Liberty's, Standing liberties, 2 no date V's, 2 buffs... even some old foreign coins. On top of that there's about 25 bucks in nickels I haven't even looked at yet. Even some war pennies and a '35 silver certificate dollar. Well, I have something to keep me busy when I can't sleep <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Lot's of coins to look up in the red book <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">

I did try out my birthday present before choir rehearsal tonight <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

(couldn't wait). I tried my backyard and dug my very first target!!! Now get this... I pinpointed a 1955 wheatie (within a 1/2") about 8" down. No real big shakes but.... that just happens to be the year I was born <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Now how's that for a coinkadinky <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
I do believe I'm going to have a lot of fun with this thing <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
Congrats on the new detector, after you figure it out you'll be amazed what you will find.
I've heard the ExpII is a good beach machine too! Run some air tests on those coins to see how it reads them.

Congrats Joe and God sure has answered prayer for you...just look at all the blessings you've been receiving. My son is only 4 yrs younger than you. He was born in 1959! I am very happy for you and may you find lots of goodies with that EXP II.....lucky you!

all those coins would bring back a lot of childhood memories just looking at em and holding em.
Be sure to tell your Momma ya love her. Am glad she is still alive. I'm not as fortunate (mine passed in 1974 at an early age of 42). Be sure to cherish your Momma even more than those coins.

Hi, Joe, don't you wish you could find many coins like those your mother gave you when you are out detecting? You will probably find them but not all at once!
