Ok gang i finnaly recieved my MXTPRO today :)

1st impressions:
1.built very well
2.easy to put togeather
3.love the finish :)
4 well balanced (i feel the 12 inch coil is a bit heavy , but not to bad )

So i went for 30 minutes , I was in c&j stock settings

i got my first ever hit and it was a grunt sound , so i dug it .
It was a wire hanger .
second hit was a diff tone a bit higher and it was a beer cap
third a beer cap on the last sweep i had a higher tone yet again and it was a 1994 canadian penny :)
i was so happy and smiling :) still am lol

So the last thing i found was about 30 skeeter bites and sweat running down my neck!!!!

What a blast i had , Cannot wait to get out again tomm :)

30 skeeter bites ain't bad when your havin' fun. You will love your MXT more and more as you learn it. I thought my 12" coil was a bit to heavy also so I picked up 5.3 coil and a set of Sunray Pro Gold headphones. definitely a great investment. I love this hobby so much that my J.O.B. is interfering with my hobby. Nancy suggested that I lose my keys... I can find them with my MXT but you know, the MXT finds things so easily that I wouldn't miss much work at all... Happy huntin' Jack

I'm so excited for you! The more you use it, the more you're going to love it. First thing, you need to buy yourself some good mosquito repellent with DEET. We wouldn't want you to get sick with West Nile virus. When learning your MXT, the coin & jewelry is a great mode. I loved hunting in wood chips in the playgrounds. It's a great place to learn to pinpoint and to get to know your machine. Lots of targets hopefully. Good luck and keep us posted. HH and you're on your way to an exciting hobby! Nancy
