1st time used x-terra 705

I finally received and used my new minelab x-terra 705 gold package at 6:00am this morning for two hours. I just turned it on and set it to program two and started detecting, today's hunt was all about learning how to pinpoint.
I had verifying success with pinpointing I think I am at least headed in the right direction, maybe with a few more hours I will have mastered that part of the detector using the 5x10 DD HF coil. I used the four tones to start with and pretty much ignored the TID'S for now because I am just working on pinpointing but did notice quarters had faint sound compared to all other targets even none of them where deeper than two inches. I found $3.71 in clad coins and vireos pieces of trash, here is a pic of my first finds. quarters are at top then dimes, nickles and pennies, with the trash on both sides.
I am impressed so far with my new MD performance and cant wait until tomorrow morning to practice some more.

I do not have the pro pointer yet, I do want the pro pointer I just can not afford it right now.

Save up the clad that you find, and it won't be any time at all before you'll have enough to get one.

You did well in your first two hours.
You'll learn more each time out for a while. And if you're at all like me, you'll refer back to Randy's book to refresh and confirm several times.

You did awsome for only two hours and didn't even have a pointer yet! You must have the pinpointing down pat to find all that in a such a short time.

Hey thats great!

Lots of finds.Congrat!
Cant wait to get out again.Going to Norway again since I cant use it here in Sweden.
Looking forward to see more of your finds.
