2 Fat Silvers with the F2

campnagle

New member
Wife's solo hunt with F2
2 fat silver quaters, 3 wheats, 2 rings, clad and a pendant.
She likes the F2 over her Ace 250
No zincolins thanks to the F2 tones and ID

I would dig those zinc signals in the lower range.
I did and found 3 big, fat gold class rings between 48 and 52.
Also, Indian heads are weird and can come in anywhere in the zinc range.

Goes to prove entry level units produce if you are hunting in the right place...As far as gold rings one never knows where they will come in on the meter....

First off my wife Barbara is a experienced hunter. As far as entry level, we don't need programs, confidence meters and the moon phase to get results. That F2 has every thing it needs to find good targets. The DD coil probably does make a difference. My self I never cared for difficult machines or the patience to take months to learn how to run the thing. The last two new machines I bought I got rid of right away for that reason. I took a gamble on the F2 by doing tons of research and it less than a week I find it to be a keeper and might get another one.
