Ex 2 Loot with the 12" Excelerator coil

First of all.....I like to thank a member (Christopher-Ohio ) on here for the flawless purchase of a new EX2 in the box on Ebay
One heck of a deal.....I used the clad I cashed in from last year to pay for it !!..
I did consider purchasing a New SE.....
But I didn't see that much of a difference..
If some can tell me I made a mistake by purchasing an (New/OLD Explorer 2) please fill me In!!
The last 2 hunts with my NEW (outdated) Explorer 2 have produce almost enough loot to pay for itself 3 gold and a-lot of silver
I was hunting without the pinpoint button for a while ... have to send it in to have it replaced

Cool new avatar too .....

The price of Gold just keeps rising, making your Loot worth more and more. Nice Rings! I bet that Josten's had something sitting on top of it. Maybe there is a way of finding another Ring of the same year, maybe on Ebay, to see if there was something else on the Ring at one time, that is if you can find the same design. Keep up the Excellent Finds Buddy! Nice Beer Can by the way. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.

great finds skully:super:

Awesome finds, as usual !!! I'm almost positive that 1975 ring is a saleman's sample. I've seen them before - I found a 1926 ring years ago that looks just like that. They leave the top and sides blank to fill in with the setting, crests, school name, etc. for demo purposes. Take care and HH, Mike.
