2 Omega questions

How much depth loss can be expected on coin sized targets using D3 and D4 audio?
Also I can't find much info of how well the All metal mode works on the Omega and approximently how much more depth can be achieved on coin sized targets in this mode.

I haven't noticed any depth loss in d3 or d4. Also works good in d1 in iron trashy areas. I haven't measured the depth change in all metal. I would guess an increase of 3".

On mine difference in 1-2 tone and 3-4 tone is very minimal. Maybe 1/2" at most. All metal is about the same a 1-2 tone but you do get about an inch of fringe repsonse with no target ID more than disc mode.

Other thing of note. I've notices very little if any depth difference in disc1(min) or disc80(max) settings. Which is nice if you have uncontrollable EMI in an area. EMI rarely registers falsing above s-cap for me. I'll disc to 72 and pull coins easy. However, I've only had bad emi in electric fence, buried power lines, and close cell towers.

I don't think that the different tones has an effect on depth, what they do is to help the user better define his hunting styles.
I only use the all metal in the pinpoint, but I haven't noticed any increase in horsepower over the disc mode?
