1918 merc. Almost smooth, 1937 merc in great shape. And a little giant thing. I drive a hour and a half from home, and realized I forgot my battery. The home owner mcguyvered me a lawn mower battery and saves my trip.

Nice finds! :thumbup:Not sure if your "Thing" has anything in common with this manufacturer but try Googling "Little Giant power hammer" and see what what you think!

I have always heard that "Almost" only counts in Horseshoes, Hand grenades and Atomic Bombs. Glad the homeowner helped you out of a bad situation. I drove for over 3 hours one day to discover that I had left my rechargable battery on the charger but I had my alkaline battery pack along to save the day. Two Great Pieces of Silver. Congratulations.
