2 week gold streak

Besides all the usual clad, trash, tabs, and occasional trinkets, I've been on a little bit of a gold streak for the last 2 weeks. 8 pieces and all 14K. The bracelet was inside the small ring it is around, so 2 gold in one hole! The 5 gram nugget ring fits me. The 2004 14K class ring I found this morning. It had a full name in it. I think I may have found the owner. Currently lives in California, right age, graduated in 2004, lived in Columbus for a while. I have sent her an email to see if she lost the ring and can give a description. We'll see if she is the owner.

Congratulations on trying to do the good thing with locating the owner of the ring. I've done that before and it's a good feeling.

UPDATE: Found the owner of the class ring! In less than 8 hours! She lives in California and verified some things about the ring that only the owner would know. She hasn't seen the ring in over 8 years! I will be sending it to her this week. Great feeling!
 
Feels good don't it?! Been there. With me it was a 17 year old lost his class ring and I got it back to him.

Glad somebody is finding gold. I found a locket today that might be gold. I'm hoping. Don't take your good fortune for granted. The streaks without gold can be very long. Way to go!

Hey Bro, Way to go !! You're on a gold streak and I'm on a gold slump. Still looking for my first class ring. Still finding silver here and there though, which keeps me going. Always kickin butt on the clad. My last good find was a .925 Irish Claddah (spelling?) ring. (two hands holding heart). I've seen many of them on here. Sorry no pics, I'm at work.
