1837 coins in a few months, gotta love it. Old parks are great for learning your machine because you have the mixture of clad and the old. Pay particular attention to where the clad coins land on the scale in comparison to an older coin of the same denomination, gives you invaluable insight as to what's in the ground before you dig it. Same thing applies to the jewelry, the 6000 (in my opinion) gives the user greater detail and breaks down the target into finer categories than other units of equal quality. (Which btw, is about as top of the line as you can hope for anyway) I love the 6000, my DiPro SL dials the target dead on. I can tell the difference between a clad penny vs an IH penny vs a post IH/pre-clad penny before I dig it witout fail 99 out of a 100 times. It's scale is broken down so finely and the ANALOG circuitry is so deadly it just ought to be illegal :) (One thing about the DiPro though, it'll keep you in shape just swinging it! Lot's heavier than the XL Pro but a legendary unit nonetheless and I'd never trade mine for anything else  )

Wait till you start hitting that old silver, standing liberty quarters, barber quarters, dimes etc. Nothing like digging a silver coin 60-100 years old out of the ground that still shines like a champ! They just "don't make 'em like they used to" eh? HH and good luck HUNT!

THE XL PRO ROCKS Also you mau want to take a very goooood look at the M6 to back up your XL PRO.
I still can't believe how good it is.
I am now using it with the 6X10 DD coil and the monster is a blast to use.The xl pro at 6.59hhz and the M6 at 14 khz what more can I ask for. Both unit will pick up my 10 inch silver dime in my test garden.
How many coins are 10 inch deep.
Who will let you dig to China to get a zinc?:super::jump:
