Sometimes I like finding tokens more than silver. Last night I went through my 2011 finds and in addition to the coins I did some research on the tokens I located. I have an A.O.U.W. (American Order of United Workers) badge. Don't recall where I found it or when but it is neat. About silver dollar sized.
I have a Kenney's Refresh Mints 5 cent token, an Omaha Child fare streetcar token and after a lot of looking discovered I dug up the very first 45 record adapter from the Webster-Chicago Company circa 1949. Not worth much but very cool. Also discovered after going through my jewelry a 1979 silver girls HS ring from a local high school. Can't find initials on it or I would look for owner. What an absolutely fun year it was!
