Hi guys, Well it's that time of year to be posting our end of the year totals and I had a great year. I think the reason for that is that last year I moved to a different part of the state so I had all new places to hunt and I also did not work 3 months this summer so I had a lot of time to MD. ALL of my finds were found using the Xterra 505 with the 10.5 DD MF coil. I used pattern #1 with 4 tones most of the time but some times I would use AM or TTF. I hunted at parks, schools, yards, fields and some woods hunting. So here are my totals for the year.
2 LC's
2 Flying Eagle cents, my first year finding one of those.
123 IH's and 3 of them are Fatty's. My best year ever for IH's
639 wheat's
2,, 2 cent piece
2 shield Nickels
15 V's, one was a 1886 key date
43 Buff's, it was a crazy year for Buff's. I've never come close to finding that many buff's in one year.
8 War Nickels
2 Half Dimes, both are 1854 and my first year finding one of them.
3 Seated Dimes
29 Barber dimes, it was a killer year for Barber dimes for me.
69 Merc's
56 Rosies
3 silver Canadian Dimes, a 1918, 1919 and a 1940
4 Barber Quarters
6 SLQ's
17 Washington's
3 Barber Halves, the best one being a 1895 O
9 Walkers
1 Benny
In 2009 I found 9 half Dollars and I thought I would NEVER beat that record. I still can not believe all the halves I found this year, just crazy.

4 silver pendents
I found 202 silver coins and 639 wheat's for a silver to wheat ratio of 3.16 to 1. that's the best end of the year ratio for me since I started MDing 7 years a go. I didn't let any silver coins get by me this year.
I'm working on pictures if the sun would ever come out.
