so passed on my usual early morning hunting and finished a small in-door "honey do" painting project. The temp. is now inching its way up toward 30, so am going to give it a shot. Later! HH jim tn

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:surprised:

If you dig a lot of targets you will warm up..thorw a lot of change on the ground and start your hunt..

and not frozen stiff. Actually, with little wind it wasn't to bad. When I ended the hunt, it was 36 degrees. I only mustered up $1.22 in clad and Memorial cents, plus the usualy numbers of trash and 1 real bouncy signal that barely sounded good in one small spot, which much to my surprise, was a 45D war nickel. It was fairly deep, 7" or so, and I think on edge. 4 degrees, jimmyk, I would have stayed in front of the screen, too. HH jim tn

some thing has got ol mother nature pissed off-am in east Tx and we had snow last fri, several nights in the low 20sand then it warmed up just to rain then dropped back into low 30s-could be her time of the month

and if so how did you like it ??? Congrats on the 45 N...Silver is Silver !!!

No El, my better half "advised" me that the LTD had to go under the tree, unopened, until Christmas. I tried suggesting that it should at least be looked at just in case it could have been damaged in shippment. She "advised" me again with her knowing smile. When she "advises" me twice, I have learned to listen. I am kind of anxious to check it out. If it's what most everyone says it is, it is a killer detector, as my regular F 75 certainly is. It shows 25 degrees at my house currently and is supposed to hit the mid 40's today, so will give it an hour or so and let the rush hour traffic ease some and then ventue out for some tecting. I truly do feel for all you guys and gals up there in the snow and frozen tundra. HH jim tn

was my best find today. It hit in the nickel range, was about 5" with a fairly jumpy vid. Did put in 3+hours and the Bermuda coin and a meager amount of clad was it. Beats digging snow, though. HH jim tn
