2500 ID

Does the 2500 ID correctly for size and ID at depth in all metal mode?

Hey Joe,
All ID Detectors will lose the ability to ID correctly beyond a certain depth. But as you learn your machine, you will be able to tell what those real deep signals are.
Each model detector is different in the depth capabilities, naturally the deeper a particular detector can go vs. another model, the more ID depth you will have.
Hope this helps!

than it can correctly ID. Imaging will loose some accuracy at max depth also. A good example was recently I was hunting with another person who was getting targets where I wasn't. They were miniballs at 10-12+". The 2500 had no problem giving a good audio signal,in all metal, but was having a tough time giving a good ID and image. Up to 9-10" I can usually call it right before I dig it. I can tell you that if I have been digging frequently I can hear enough difference in the targets to know to dig without the ID but I can't really explain the difference. Good luck!
