Hunted a stubble field today that I can literally see from my front window. I've been over there before, but chasing where various maps put the home until now was fruitless.
This time, I had just taken another good look at an 1859 topo map, when they pulled into the field with a 250hp tractor and a 34ft disk. All they were doing was running down and busting up the corn stubble and shocks (which made hunting much easier).
With my new found info and the 705 w/15" 3kHz Al Terrain coil on I started finding targets right away. Ended up with an 1844 Bank of Montreal half penny token, an 1847 Large Cent, an 1820 Large Cent that had been drilled for use as a button, two back marked buttons with intact shanks, an old plated spoon, and a small whatzit.
