I went back out today concentrating on deep targets only. I can certainly say that I got the hang of the deep target sound for this machine and this machine does go DEEP. I dug three pulltabs the full lengh of my Lesche (11.25 inches) and several other targets in the 7 to 9 inch range. No silver for me, but my buddy dug a '01 Barber dime at 4 inches. Here I am trying to dig just the deepies and he gets a nice prize at 4 inches. :wacko:
 
yeah you just never know.
I nabbed a nice barber sitting on the surface once when I was just looking for clad.
remember-
whatever depth you're digging,
you first have to get the target under the coil!
keep swinging and the finds will come!
