3 MERRY WIDOWS were active

Very little to show for my four hour hunt this forenoon. I worked an area that just had very few targets of any kind. I did, however, get a lid to a "3 Merry Widows" condom container that is different then the whole container I found a couple of weeks ago. Some of you may recall that the brand is early 1900's and that the 3 actually stands for the 3 widows, Agnes, Mabel and Becky, that started the condom co. The first picture is of the one I found today and the second is of both for showing the difference. "Price $1.00 and Selected Tested" is a different version. Apparently, there are at least three versions of containers, as my research states that some of the containers have their names on them. The third picture us todays "nut." The wheatie is a 50d. Hi Ho for some silver tomorrow. HH jim tn

Found a few of those myself! Kinda weird feeling touching them even though they were in the ground for awhile. Great hunt!!
