(3) of my local fellow police officers were shot this morning in the line of duty....

The three officers responded to a call & were shot. One is in critical condition, not sure the condition of the other two officers at this time. The suspect is still on the loose. I'm sure the officers & their families could use our prayers.

the other two officers suffered leg wounds & are in stable condition.
 
My Son is a detective on the police force down here and I shutter everytime I hear about a police officer being shot. Many people do not realize just how dangerous it is being in law enforcement. Kelley (Texas) <img src="/metal/html/sad.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":sad">

Mike, I am a retired police officer and with every event of this nature I feel a sense of deep personal loss. You have to be a member of the police brotherhood to truly understand and I'm sure you do. Condolences to you and yours.JIM
