Out on a local beach this weekend, found 3 rings 2 silver and one that was plated I think at some point. Turned the power up on the F70 while I was out trying to snag any deeper objects. I set at sens 70 thres 0 disc 22, the machine ran hot falsing as I went along, took me a min to get used to that. I dug all repeatable signals, so there was a lot of junk along the way, but I was hunting for the gold. Not many coins out today either, I have hit this beach three years in a row. I took a other friend of mine out today and he scored a very small gold ring that might weigh a gram at best. All in all, we had a wonderful day out digging up the junk.
The toe ring almost fooled me, the one with the feet on it, it was a jumpy signal like a bottle cap. The only difference was it help steady in the dime range and only dipped into the 30's on some angles and never got into the 90's like most caps do for me. Still I almost didnt dig it. So I learned a lesson today with that.
