The blizzard dumped up to 40 inches of snow at the most in Haddam I believe!
The kids are still home from school, the roads are not passable for school buses.
It might be tough for work for me also, because our job sites have yet to be cleared.
I worked on Friday when most of or crew stayed home the worst of the blizzard hit Friday
night! There is a slight possibility we could see another blizzard Sunday into Monday.
I just pray for the safety off those that are put in harms way from first responders to those
removing snow, to sitting in cars with windows closed, quite a few have died from Carbon Monoxide
Poisoning. Thank You Lord, for all that you give and have given Praise be to you Father! In Jesus Name Amen

We have had a drought of the white stuff up till recent weeks. Never started the plow truck till Jan 21st. Highly unusual in Michigan.

Wow. That's a lot of snow! If we get more than a good dusting down here it shuts us down! lol We aren't prepared for snow and ice here. No need to buy all that snow equipment when it almost never snows.

God Bless you George! I guess the only thing people can use their detectors for up there right now is to search for their snow blower! :clapping: All of our family is still in NH and many got up to 24" which pales in comparison to what all of you got. God Bless George and be safe!

Prayers for all those in harm's way from the heavy snowfall! I pray you are safe and continue to be so and being able to work and others, too! The school children probably enjoy being off from school and now able to play in the snow and build snowmen, while those clearing the roads and parking lots work hard to remove the snow! May God Bless you and yours! Amen! Ma

The roads are slowly getting wider. The school busses should be able to navigate the corners now.
At this time the storm that was forcasted for the weekend, many are saying it should be on a track
out to sea. That sounds like good information to me (good news). Job sites are now cleaned out and
things are getting back to normal. The weather during the day has been above freezing so we are loosing
inches fast. There has been alot of roof colapses, even semi-s under the weight of heavy snow loads.

Thank God we didn't get that here in west Michigan! I'm not fond of winter anyway and I know God had His reasons for creating it but that would have been very depressing. My heart really goes out to all those to had to experience this terrible snow storm.
