I took the boat out to see if the salmon were in the channel, nope, so of course I had a backup plan which was to run easy down the shoreline looking for other blowouts along the dunes...I came across this one place right away, it was washed out right down to the hardpack, rusty nails, bricks, glass, all sorts of stuff thats usually buried under 6 feet of sand or more...got this 36 merc and this cool little old toy train with the ATPro...picked up a buck or two of clad as well...it sure is nice to just jump out of a boat with a detector that can take it! The Lake is still warm, 70 or so...perfect for wading with shorts...we dont have any stingy or bitey things (except flies) up here like what Sailorman and some of you others have to contend with. The fish wont come in until the water flips cold, which will put it in the 50's at the shore, and may happen tonight. Good Luck and HH to you all!
