4 1/2 x7 Excelerator DD coil???

I got a 4-1/2x7 Excelerator DD coil from Kellyco N the cable was 3" to Long N sent it back, The second one was the same thing to Long,
The stock coil cable is 30" N the lower rod slids nice in the upper rod, What do you guys do about this????? Mickfin

Most People use the Sun Ray probe ,so the cable is on the out side of the rod . If you run it on the inside of the lower rod . Run the cable inside the lower rod ,but don't slide it into the upper rod until you connect the cable . as you slide the lower rod into the upper rod , just pull out the excess cable from the bottom hole of the lower rod as you push the lower rod in . You'll have about 3 in. hanging out next to the Coil when your done . No big deal.... it will work fine . It was made longer so it could be run on the outside of the rods .

The 4 1/2X7 " is one of the best smaller coils made . No problem hitting coins 6 to 7" . I use it when I hunt cellar Holes .
