Gary-B said:4.1 has some connectivity bug fixes, and a new feature called ground sensitivity.....You can now adjust how mineralised the ground needs to be before the Deus tracks.
It has other uses too but more will be explained later.
Instead of random ground numbers being displayed the ground screen will read - - and default to 88 or 90 if the ground balance signal is not strong enough.
Haven’t noticed the difference between 2.0 and 2.5 reactivity bearing on iron falsing. But, I have noticed the random noise coming from the MI6 pin pointer. It sounds to me like the pin pointer is trying to establish the connection to the coil and control module.Brianc said:I am currently using 4.0 while detecting today I notice that when I use 2.5 reactivity I had more issues with iron falsing. Anyone else notice this? When set at reactivity 2 iron did not have the high tones I was hearing. Is it normal for the pinpointer to make random tones when in use?
