4.5 sniper vs 6x8 butterfly sef

Am relatively new to detecting and am the proud owner of an ace 250! Would appreciate feedback on which is better between these two coils.

Well, the sniper is a great little coil in trash and has the advantage of being able to work very close to metal like playground equipment and metal fencing. But I think the 6 x 8 will also do well in trash and give more depth but it won't get as close in to metal objects. All sort of depends on what you want the coil to do.
