4 hour hunt, great start for '09 - Gold and Silver!

Happy New Year all! Haven't posted in quite a while or been on the boards. Mainly because I haven't gotten out detecting much, and when I
have I haven't found much worth posting.

Well, got off work early today, was 40 Degree's, not too windy, so I couldn't resist going out for a while for my first hunt for 2009! Hit a
local park and boy am I glad I did!!

18K gold lion ring with what appear to be diamond chips in the eyes and mouth. Even if they aren't diamonds the ring is stamped 18K!

Then this .925 Silver Mexican Pendant with a freaky design!

Then found two more junk rings (a Nike ring and a band) and a watch ...

Additionally.. tweezers, a UV filter for a camera lens, toy car, 5 keys, a Cleveland Indians key chain, and $3.51 in change ...

It seemed like I was diggin' something every ten steps.!! All-in-All .. gold, silver, and a great hunt for my first time out this year!!
