4 khz today and 11 inch coil (184 coins)

CZ.....and his 4 khz hunts gave me the idea to use it today for my hunt. I used 4 khz and my 11 inch coil...must have hit an area that hasn't been hunted...in 6 hours I pulled 184 coins, 2 silver rings, a diamond earring and a Six Flags token. Note, I didn't pull any nickels but perhaps they weren't there.

Excellent haul! 4kHz isn't as sensitive to nickels, but still no slouch whatsoever! Checking GB often will insure that you're getting the most from the program! :clapping:

CZ.....the mineralization meter never has anything on it so I assume our soils must be neutral....Most of the time, I set it on 90 and never move it...I'm going back to that site and see if I can hunt for nickels only just to see if I was leaving them..I checked to make sure I didn't have the nickels notched out. I searched a really trashy area yesterday late for just about an hour and had reactivity set to 3 and notched up to 70 using 12 khz and had silencer set to "4"...trying to miss the bottle caps...I still dug bottle caps..but perhaps a lot fewer than I would have. I was under the impression using silencer at 4 would totally eliminate rusted bottle caps.
