4 Tones on Golden microMax

My new tone Golden micro Max is no longer my main machine but I still enjoy using it. I don't get as involved as 53Silver, and keep it simple. The notch feature is able reject many pull tabs and still detect nickels. When Tesoro was still selling the Golden, they had instructions on their website that applied to the old and new tone detectors - how to get 4 tones, not 3. Adjust the discrim to minimum, toggle on wide or narrow notch, and adjust the notch width control to get a solid signal on a nickel.

Setting the disc too high will eliminate or reduce to lowest tone. Setting the notch width on wide will eliminate or reduce the upper middle tone. Apart from these settings, if you are not getting four tones there is something wrong with your machine.
