Last few days the arctic vortex is making crazy cold conditions up here. Here's what I dug on a snow hill. It was not as cold obviously. The Garrett APEX just keeps finding targets. I am a another six dollars closer to my annual gold coin.

To keep busy, I made some suet to feed the birds and give them energy. I also made my first coinring this evening, using a US 1997 Rosy. Check it out below.

Not quit as cold here in northern Missouri -2. Love the coin ring, haven't attempted one yet. Been building digging tools out in the work shop, close as I can get to detecting for now.

Oh please tell me you’re talking C and not F on those temps??? Lol. Still, thats cold!! Expecting 3F here Thursday/Friday morning. Good day to stay inside and go thru all the various pre 83 coins in the tub......

Ha ha! At those low numbers, F & C are pretty close.
