Does anyone use the 4KHz feq. For coins? Do not see any programs using 4khz except as a checking program for iron.
Not sure if there is that muck difference between 4 & 8 but any help on coins would be welcome.
Thanks
Jpiddle.

I have began using the 4KHz frequency in an attempt to go deeper. My main problem is the Garrett pinpointer's interference.

So far, it is a great frequency to id bottle caps and as you said, to check for iron.

About Garret pinpointer interference, I like when the xp starts getting noisy and the pointer not making a sound , there is a good target still in the hole. Dig a little more and it will start beeping
