4X7 Explorer COIL

I have seen several comments on this coil, and was wondering exactly what everyone thought of it compared to a 5" coil. I'd like to hear about comparative depth and its ability to handly trash as well as the threshold stability and its ability to properly identify signals.
Thanks

Very good question. I've been wondering about this myself and hoping someone would offer up some performance comparison since there seems to be a lot of folks using small coils.

There are a few of us who would like to see it in action..or at least hear how it has done. I've seen only good things about it so far.

Just did a air test with mine. Got a good signal on a dime at 8" also good seperation. Dime and 3" nail 2" apart lengthwise got a signal on both running ironmask wide open, sen.28 in ferrous. I do like it better then the 5" i had but they are both good coils. Only my opinion.
