5 " Coil arrived Can't wait to Try it on the G2 !!!

You're going to really like the 5" DD coil on your G2. It's light, goes really deep for its size and it picks good stuff out of a heavy trash with ease. 8+ inches on a nickle isn't bad for a such a small coil.

What I was so impressed about that 5" DD coil on the G2 is that it's just "DYNAMITE" in heavy trash.-----Merry Christmas Sonny!

I cant wait either !!!

Ok .....Went back over a trashy area that I was at yesterday. It found just a few coins the 11 inch missed. I love the hard hitting sounds of the 5 inch coil . I dug only 3 inch average depth but it probably didnt have a chance on a deeper target. I did find a metallic object today that was a shade over an 1/8th of an inch big WOW !!! Sonny

As for the only 3" coin depth, just be patient with learning the G2. it's simple, but you just need to use the most Sensitivity you can, lowest Discrimination you can tolerate, then make sure you use enough sweep speed. Even with the little 5" DD you might need to work it with a little brisker sweep to get a good hit on some deeper targets. I've pulled coins with the 5" down in the 5" and 6" range this past week with the G2.
