5"DD Question

Got my new 5dd , ears on coil are wider than mounting rod. Do the ears bend inward when mounted the first time ? Or do I need to find a thin piece of rubber to make a washer to take up gap? Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, you need a spacer...theres all sorts of rubber grommets and O rings that may work down at your local hardware store in those little bins...or just fab up something yourself out of what you got around the house...you for sure don't want to break off those little ears...let us know how it works for you...I've got to get me one of those little coils!

Thanks Guys, I got it, washers made from a plastic milk jug [2] seems to do the trick. Appreciate help!

You need a washer. I just checked it and found a garden hose. Rubber is perfect. You only use a washer on one side my t2se came with 1 and it came with an added flyer in the box stating. Washer one side. HH. CT t

Hi , did your T2 come with a manual? I had to print one from the web. I though i got a bad deal wit only one washer till i read the paper inside. I have never used the 5" coil, dose it get good depth? My ground balance is 68 or 69, not bad. I got some wheat Penny's at 8" in a field i though was done. I think i am going to like the T2 SE.
