5 hours, 55 coins, one 11" quarter

Hit a soccer park this morning, before it got hot. Spent 5 hours and dug 55 coins.........10 quarters, 30 pennies, 6 nickels and 9 dimes. I thought I had found two silver dimes, but, nay, they were just shiny.......odd for being 5" deep. The only amazing part of the day was a quarter target, pinpointed at 11" and when dug, it was right at 11"! My Chinese knock-off "Lesche" digger is 12" long and it was all the way in the hole when the quarter showed up. Sure was hoping for something old, but, it was a 1982.......should have been an 1892!!!

With what detector may we ask?

That would be the F75 standard (gold shaft). I was using the Disc mode, notched out the first half of iron, sens 85, fast grab GB came in at 76, tones 3H, dE process.

I have had the same experience Roland,I was at an old ball feild, dug up 4 wheaties all around4 to 5 inches deep, then pow I got a solid 85,pinpoint showed 10 inches,My lesche is exactly 12 inches long, the blade being 7.When i finally seen the quarter, the end of the handle was almost flush with the top of the hole!! I was very excited, till I looked at the date,it was a 2005!! Still havent fiquered that one out!!!!!

Looks like that 75 is working just fine. If it had been Silver, you would have found it too.

Yeah, it is working just fine.....look like Rick would vouch for that with his, too! I still learn something about mine almost everytime I go out. The only mode I haven't used, as yet, is the Static All Metal. I really don't see any advantage to using this mode. Motion All Metal is supposed to have greater depth, but, I like the Discrimination mode when I want some "quiet" in the headphones.

wtg.....I dug a clad quarter at 10 inches awhile back......must have come in with fill....f75ltd.....running AM......hh
