5 inch coils

I have the round 5" Excellerator as well as the 5" DD on my Explorer II, really can't see an advantage with one over the other in conditions here. Anyone else notice a difference between the two?

what a coil! Tried it out for the first time yesterday at a very trashy site I have been hunting with my 8" minelab coil. Unbelievable! Separation is fantastic and plenty deep enough for me. Didn't get any silver but did manage 2 Wheaties in an area I have scrubbed more than a few times with the 8". Going to leave the 5" on for a while and put it to the test! So far I love it!

I have this coil and have sniffed out coins in my highly trashy lawn. I really like it.

I always use the 5 inch, that's why I picked up the DD. Like I said I wanted to see if there was a difference. I have found tons of hidden goodies with those little coils.

The 5" Excelerator is a "DD" coil.
