6" Excelerator VS minelab 8"

I own them both. I haven't found anything deep with the 8" but that's possibly because I never got over anything deep. The 6" has hit 8" wheats nice and solid for me. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's better at separation too. However, if you decide to get the 8", I have one I'll sell you for $80. :wiggle:
 
You'll be on sites that need a smaller coil than the stock coil but there's not too many that HAVE to have one smaller than 8". That's not to say that the 6" and smaller coils don't have their place. I would recommend the Sunray 8" over the Minelab 8" though because it's lots lighter and does the same job.

where do you get a 4" Excelerator? The smallest I found at Kellyco was 5 inches (and 2 inches thick). Does anybody else sell these?
