First: the standard coil in going in the closet.
The DD is super in the trash. I had worked the
area that I found these relics in with the standard
coil and an Elite. With the Elite, I was able to
pull out a US Breastplate and a 6 pounder. Went over
it with the MXT and was able to get quite a bit
that the Elite missed. In fact, I worked it until
there were no more good signals. Today with
the 6 X 10 on, I was able to get another 6 pounder
(within a foot or so of the other one I found
a month back) and a couple of buttons, nut off
shell casing, etc. I am really impressed with
how close in this coil can get to the trash. On
the cannonball, I could hear the slightest high
tone with a much more significant, iron tone.
Dug the signal, got a small piece of iron, and
then the signal cleared up. At 18 inches, out
comes the cannonball. Anyway, going again soon
and I'll have to say that the MXT continues to
amaze me. Best to all and happy hunting,
