7/05/2008-Morning Hunt-1st Merc, 11th Ring, 1/4 VW

Saturday morning's hunt brought me my first Merc (1920), my 11th ring (non-silver), and 1/4 of a VW toy car! Found $2.42 in clad plus the merc. I also end up having to fill several huge holes some left while detecting. Put the detector away and filled as many as I could find.

The thing on the upper left is an old pulley ..

Some real good finds.. To bad about you having to fill those holes left by this other person..This always reflects badly on the ones like us that are careful to leave the area hole free. I thank for doing this good deed, from the rest of us..

Nice finds bud. Really love that merc and the megaphone is very cute too.
Yeah, it's rotten to have to fill in other people's holes we get them over here as well.
