705 frequency switch ?

When switching coils on the x-Terra 705 ( 5x10 hf to 10.5in 7.5) does the detector do this automatically?
or do you have to switch it manually? if so how do you go about switching the frequency to match the coil

It is all automatic, and is built in to the coil. You change the coil, and when you start back up, you will be at the attached coils stated frequency.

The coils have a built-in chip, that communicates with the control box and sets the frequency of operation.
That's why the coils aren't copied by Detech as far as I know, and that's why the prices are high.
