705 settings question

I have a xterra 705 and wondering if i am running my machine right. I am finding lots of stuff coins a few rings lots of tabs lol running in all metal mode in ground tracking with the ground balance offset at +2 i am hitting targets but nothing deeper then 6 or 7 inches

Machine is ground balancing at 27-30 and i am using a 5x10dd
 
I won't knock the elliptical coil, as several folks find it to be their coil of choice. But the 6 or 7 inches you mention is about all I could ever get out of mine. I get far more depth with the 9-inch concentrics, the 10.5 inch DDs and the All Terrain coils. JMHO HH Randy
