8" vs 10.5" coil with tiger shark

Looking at a tiger shark for my winter beach detector. Any feedback on the 8 vs the 10.5 coil as well as general reviews of the unit itself would be appreciated.

Hello Charlie,

I've owned the Tiger Shark with the stock 8" coil since 2001, never had a reason to change to the 10

I preferred the 8' over the 10.5 as it seemed to have alot less drag in the water.
