Received my coil in the mail today. Looking forward to getting out and testing but wonderful work and weather will have to cooperate on the same days. For those of you that own one how much depth do you lose on the coil? Took it out in the back yard for a few minutes and definitely can tell all ready that pinpoint will be easier. And also target separation is better and quicker. Love to hear your comments!!!

Compared to the stock coil you wont lose any at all. Do an air test and you will be suprised at how deep the sef is. It has laser pinpointing and awesome separation....you will be impressed. Those coils arent on backorder all the time for nothin.

You'd think that there would be some difference, but I cant tell it.

Same findings myself. Quickly sold off the stock coil and bought a 10x12 SEF and 15 WOT. So far, SEF and WOT coils have proved to be an improvement over stock coils on every machine I have put them on.

Just received a brand-new SEF 8 x 6 coil from Kellyco myself. Now someone please take these -30 degree polar vortexes away from my home state of Wisconsin. It's almost March and we are continuing to have minus degree wind chill warnings. I want to go metal detecting!!!! When the weather does warm up I hope we all share how the new coil performs. I will be using mine on my Safarie detector. Take care and think spring.

Yeah Cos this winter just will not go away. We don't have it as bad as you, but if the ground is frozen and the wind is blowing it is just terrible. Definitely will let you know when I finally get out and test the coil.
Good to know that the smaller coil works just as good as the bigger one. I could definitely feel the weight difference when I changed them out.
