I've put quite a few hours into using the Mono coil and some time into using the standard double D coil and I'm torn between the two. I'm trying to decide which coil might be the best for water and which might be better for wet/dry sand??? So far I've done reasonably well using the two of them in the water, but I have a harder time pin pointing with the larger coil. On the sand it seems a toss up.
Am I missing that much to make it better to use the larger coil in the water or on wet/dry sand??
Any knowledge you may be able to share would be greatly appreciated!!! I would hate to find that I am wasting valuable hunting time using the wrong coil in the time I have!!!!!
