IVE HAD MY XP DEUS FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS LATELY MY 9 INCH COIL IS NOT HOLDING A CHARGE HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG THE BATTERY LAST THANKS

Hi Ranger6, I think they are good for about 2 years, if you still have some warranty left send it in and you might get a new one.

My original 9" coil will be 6 year's old in January. No noticeable loss of detecting time!

I'm in the same position as you RANGER6. For the last month or so my 9" coil is only good for about 3 to 5, hours depending on the TX setting, and then dead. I've had my Deus for a little over two years. I'm going to send it in to get the battery replaced after the first of the year.

Before you send it in, it may be a good idea to check your charging clip and clean the coil contacts.
Perhaps you can borrow a coil charging clip from a friend just to eliminate suspicion.
