A couple of hunting buddies, Gerald (tabman) and Chris and I headed out early this morning to a couple of old parks in area's where it's prudent not to hunt along. I had gotten my 98th silver coin a couple of days ago and was able to get 2 more silvers today for 100 for the year. The Rosie came from the first park we hit along with a 53d wheat and a honking 10.0 grams of what appears to be a junker ring. It was 3" deep and looked great coming out of the ground, but has no markings and a small tarnish mark that won't clean and the diamond like stones are so cloudy that if they dropped rain it would be enough to end our drought. The Hot Wheels car was an eye ball find under a tree. Got the 100th silver, 37 Washington, at the next spot we hunted. Iron and trash galore as the area had harbored houses that were torn down for a road that never got built. It was partially masked with a small rusty nail and a piece of small tin that was deeper then the coin. We each got some curios and whats its as well. It was a First Texas kind of hunt. Gerald was swinging the GB Pro, Chris his new Omega and I the F 75 LTD. We each were also using 5" dd coils. HH jim tn
