A bit of 14 K today, and I do mean "bit"..

A gorgeous day to be at the beach. Hunted for 3 hrs. in wet sand and pebbly dry sand.

Not too much to show for it, but did manage a bit of 14 K ( no marking, but tested 14 K with two tests).

Bracelet segment emitted a mellow , low tone and was about 8" deep.

Here's some pics, including an old bottle find from yesterday's hunt....also found a 1958 "Roosie" yesterday

I have the bottle described as "Applied crown top" , but I may be wrong on this designation..feel free to correct me on this if I am in error.

Thank you for looking

Nice "bit" of gold there Lorraine....A whole lot
better than a bottle cap. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:

congrats on the bit of gold.....bottle acually appears to be a machine made crown top as it appears the mold seam runs the entire length of the bottle..... an applied crown top seam will end an inch or two prior to the top of the bottle.... if machine made then bottle is after 1910 when automatic bottle machine began production... the bottle you posted a week ago appeared to be an applied crown top....any gold is good gold ,,congrats..
