Who would carry around an empty purse (a smart lady I guess - make him pay for everything!). Yours looks sterling? Mine was plated. Circa 1910. The newer buckle and the 1859 Seated half were found there too. Nice finds and definitely a good reason to dig iffy targets!! Congrats!!! HH
